Today, 11th of February, marks the International Day of Women and Girls in Science – a good occasion for all of us to support and promote equal access and participation of women in STEM.
At Clinical Microbiomics, diversity is indispensable.
We are grateful to have colleagues with various backgrounds, many different nationalities and importantly, 50% being women. They work each day to help our clients untangle the microbiome in search of mechanisms that impact health and disease.
Identifying and understanding those mechanisms is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It demands a truly interdisciplinary approach and a truly diverse team.
We are lucky to be able to count on so many talented individuals innovating at the forefront of microbiome science, and setting new standards for understanding and influencing the microbiome.
