Marianne Koliana, PhD

Marianne holds a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research at Imperial College London and a master in Molecular Biotechnology from Lund Technical University in Sweden. During her PhD, Marianne studied the gut-lung axis and the effect of gut microbial metabolites on the airway epithelium and microbiota in asthmatics, and metabolic profiling to identify potential biomarkers that could aid the diagnoses of asthma. Marianne’s solid knowledge in microbiomics makes her a strong addition to our sales team which she joined in November 2019.
